The Eden House is a new collaborative project led by Stephen Carey (Adoration) and Tony Pettitt (founding member of Fields of the Nephilim) and Andy Jackson (Pink Floyd/Gilmour engineer). Vocalists who have graced The Eden House include Julianne Regan (All About Eve), Evi Vine, Amandine Ferrari and Monica Richards (Faith and the Muse, Conflict). Contributions also come from violinist Bob Loveday (Penguin Café Orchestra, Van Morrison, Bob Geldof’); guitar contributions from (former Fields of The Nephilim stars) Peter Yates, Nod Wright and Paul Wright; along with drummers Simon Rippin (Nefilim, NFD) and Bob Irwin (Van Morrison, Johnny Cash). Mixed by the legendary, twice Grammy Award nominated, Andy Jackson (Pink Floyd, Boomtown Rats, David Gilmour) at Pink Floyd's Astoria Studio. Drawing in friends, fellow music fans and musicians whom paths, circles and influences have crossed over the last two decades, completed the vision of The Eden House and has created a beautiful sound and experience, bursting with energy, creativity and passion.

Live Band

Stephen Carey

Stephen Carey - Guitar
Founder of The Eden House, Stephen has been involved in music and production since the early 90s. Also plays with the band Adoration.

Tony Pettitt

Tony Pettitt - Bass
Founding member of Fields of The Nephilim, a band that enjoyed huge underground success (numerous indie No. 1s and top twenty mainstream charting albums) culminating in sold out tours and one of the most devoted fan followings in contemporary music. Played in NFD where a friendship with Stephen Carey formed and a musical ambition grew, to what we now know as, The Eden House.

Simon Rippin

Simon Rippin - Drums
The rythmic driving force behind the Nefilim "Zoon" album, Simon has toured previously with Tony as part of the Nephilim AD touring lineup, in addition to working with Stephen and Tony in NFD and Adoration.

Andy Jackson

Andy Jackson - Guitar
Andy has been a sound engineer since the days of steam. he first worked with Pink Floyd for the making of "The Wall" movie, an epic production of arguments & facist rallies, coincidentally reuniting him with Bob Geldof who'd given Andy his first (& only) no. 1 single with 'don't like mondays'. He never quite escaped & has recorded pretty much all their outoput since then, giving him 2 grammy nominations. He was there for the infamous stand colapse at earls court, a wedding and a shooting at US shows (not of the same people) and mixed the reunion of the original line up at Live8. However, he counts the highlight of his career as mixing 'big bottom' for Spinal Tap at an Amnesty international TV special. During the many extended breaks in Pink Floyd recording, Andy worked with Fields of the Nephilim on the Elizium and Earth Inferno albums. Joining the Eden House was an offer too good to resist (all engineers are frustrated guitarists).

Studio and Past Contributors
Bob Loveday

Bob Loveday - Violin
Born in South Africa, he started playing piano at four, and at eight (now in Zimbabwe) he started on the violin. His family moved to England, where during his teens he discovered to his horror that he was being groomed with the life of a classical virtuoso. Soon his Haydn developed signs of Hendrix, while his Saint-Saens smacked of Santana.Never one to develop a career along conventional paths, Bob's very first professional recording session was with Paul McCartney at Abbey Road, since which heady start he has gone onto become proficient in a wide arena of musical styles, contributing to albums by Kirsty McColl, Paul Carrick and Louden Wainwright III amongst others. For a while he established a foothold in Austin, Texas where he played the bar rooms and honky tonks, developing a feel for the rootsy styles of the deep south. This experience came in useful when he accompanied Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, Joe Ely and others on UK television. Bob has also been spotted on TV with Ben Elton, Alexei Sayle, French & Saunders and Rory McGrath's Death By County with Philip Pope. Although essentially a freelance session player, he has worked closely with a number of bands, including a fascinating four years with The Penguin Cafe Orchestra, in the late '80's touring with them all over the world and featuring on two or maybe more of their albums, and now with The Eden House

Amandine

Nominated for the Independent Music Awards by Secret Garden Party Festival and prestigious Cambridge venue the ‘Living Room’, Evi is a singer/songwriter emerging from the UK’s underground music scene. Inspired by such diverse artists as Leonard Cohen, The Cocteau Twins, Arvo Part and Nine Inch Nails, raw and emotive, her powerful, but minimalist narrative style is very much her own. Her voice is described as haunting and otherworldly; her lyrics telling of isolation, sex, death and alienation. Few performers can consistently deliver such an impassioned, emotional and hypnotic show as Evi Vine. Her potent and mesmerising live performances draw the audience into compelled silence. Having gained considerable attention following last two years summer festival appearances at Glastonbury, Latitude, Secret Garden Party, Standon Calling, Irish Green Gathering, Bohemia Festival, and Aeon Festival, Evi is currently recording her debut album in London.

Valenteen

Valenteen
